A Future and A Hope

I was contacted by an American woman living in Kenya by the name of Kate. She and her husband have 4 biological children and 8 orphans that they care for. She told me that they have just learned to make hemp jewelry. They make their own beads out of paper!! Which I think is so cool!!!

Kate graciously has sent me pictures of the kids and their work. I am proud to share their pictures here!

You can also visit their website A Future and A Hope and read about their work and cause.

I do have more pictures to share, but will do it at a later time.

Thank you Kate for letting us see your kids’ work! Also thanks for your patience in my time at getting these precious pictures up.

Happy Knotting

Wow! So they contacted you? That’s so cool! I knew about the Leaky collection grass beads, but I’ve never been contacted directly by one of the charities! Are they going to start selling the jewelry for extra income? Do they have any close up photos of their hemp work and paper beads? Their website doesn’t mention anything, but I’d be happy to also feature them on my blog with a little more info…. I wish them the best!

    Laura,

    Yes they did contact me.

Kate said that they were going to sell jewelry to help out.

I do have more close up pictures, I need to post them.

Thanks for stopping by and taking an interest in their lives!

I always love such people and kids who fight against their worst enemy i.e hopeless life. I am wondering why all bloggers(Including me) don’t publish such content too often? I think we can start a new revolution by just conveying messages.
