		<description>You can also take one cord in sting it through the top of the slit and then take a second cord and string it through the bottom of the slit.  This allows the shells to lay length ways instead of a dangling pendent.  If my camara wasn't broke I would send in pictures for you, but at this time I am unable to.</description>

you know those little metal rings that you use to put charms on a charm bracelet? well if you buy a bunch of those and then get the cowrie shells with the backs cut out you can put the ring through the small end in the split so you have a cowrie shell charm then thread it on one of the out side cords so you have like a cowrie shell charm on your neckless. me and my friend have been using charms and doing that. i just wanted to post that 'cause i know that people are looking for ways to use cowrie shells.
